Job Description

Our Sales team combines industry knowledge, software expertise, and superior customer service to ensure each partnership is successful. The Sales team works with executives, project managers, and customers throughout the lifecycle of the relationship.

You will be responsible for the growth and retention of MK’s customers. The Sales Lead will understand our customers’ needs to identify opportunities to upsell, renew, and drive end-to-end campaigns to increase the adoption of MK’s offering. The Sales Rep must be an expert on MK’s products, and effectively communicate our solutions to prospective customers.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Become an expert in MK’s products and industry
  • Set meetings with qualified points of contact at financial institutions through outbound calls and emails
  • Have a complete mastery of sales process, start to finish
  • Participate in local and national trade/professional shows and conferences
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by understanding, anticipating, addressing needs
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate MK’s products to current and prospective customers
  • Illustrate the value of MK’s products and services to create growth opportunities
  • Motivate the sales team to create a healthy competitive atmosphere
  • Coordinate with the Product and Implementation teams to meet project milestones
  • Collaborate with MK’s marketing team to develop segmented email, social media, and advertising campaigns to our target market
  • Manage sales-related tasks, such as: developing sales documentation, and recording leads’ contact information and client call notes, etc.
  • Providing product feedback based on customers’ experience to appropriate teams

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working in Banking or Financial Services Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
  • Track record of negotiating, structuring, and executing highly complex enterprise-level agreements
  • Strong customer service and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-directed and able to work independently, as well as work well with others
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills (e.g. well-spoken, clear voice, and able to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers)
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for sales tracking
