Job Description

MK’s Brand Coordinator will conduct extensive market and competitor research, analyze findings, make recommendations for branding, and present their strategy to the Marketing Team. By positioning MK strategically in the market, the Brand Coordinator will positively impact our relationships with existing audiences, increase brand awareness, and expand industry connections. The Brand Coordinator will draft copy to communicate MK’s mission and products in alignment with our brand. The Brand Coordinator will use their analytical skills to evaluate competitors and distinguish key differentiators for MK. Ultimately, the Brand Coordinator will contribute to the Marketing Team’s content marketing strategy to grow its audience and revenue.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Manage and enhance MK’s brand by identifying opportunities for growth
  • Develop brand stories and strategies by combining analytical and creative content to build market share and brand recognition across channels
  • Ensure brand consistency across copy and visual content
  • Conduct research on MK’s industry and competitors
  • Utilize customer insights to enhance MK’s market positioning
  • Develop and execute brand strategy to correspond with the launch of new products
  • Assist in the development and refinement of company branding guidelines
  • Write and organize content for regular external press releases, email campaigns, blogs, social media posts, and Newsroom publishings.
  • Write compelling stories for technical products, as well as client success stories, and MK team member contributions to the industry
  • Stay up-to-date on consumer research and market trends
  • Brief and collaborate with creative teams
  • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions
  • Dynamically contribute to MK’s Content Marketing Strategy (CMS) through personal creativity, industry knowledge, research, and experience
  • Collaborate with MK’s Communications Coordinator on social media captions and contests

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in brand marketing
  • SEO content writing experience
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Is proficient with G-Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)
  • Experience collaborating and planning marketing efforts with Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams
  • Experience working at a high-growth FinTech company
